How to reach Pisciotta

By plane + train: Arriving at Rome (Ciampino - Fiumicino) or Naples (Capodichino), make your way to the main railway station -Termini (Rome) or Centrale (Napoli). Any local train going to Sapri will stop in Pisciotta-Palinuro. Faster trains include Intercity and Frecciarossa (check Trenitalia  website).

Note: from 9th June 2019 the summer train schedule entails more frequent connections. The train takes approximately 4 hours from Rome and 2 hours from Naples.

By car: From A3 Salerno - Reggio Calabria highway exit Buonabitacolo and continue on SS 517. At Policastro Bussentino turn right and to SS 18; exit Poderia; proceed to Palinuro on SR 562 running along the Mingardo river. At the Palinuro roundabout, exit right direction Pisciotta. Alternatively, from North: A3 Salerno - Reggio Calabria highway, exit Battipaglia and continue on the SS 18 towards Agropoli / Vallo della Lucania. Exit Poderia; proceed to Palinuro on SR 562 running along the Mingardo river. At the Palinuro roundabout, exit right, direction Pisciotta. It takes approximately 3 hours to drive from Naples to Pisciotta.
