Complete Syllabus (Traditional language course and Scattered classroom)
Morning courses follow traditional syllabuses in line with the communicative approach and the guidelines of the Council of Europe. Language needs are therefore identified, together with the knowledge and know-how required for attaining a higher linguistic level.
In the afternoon students interview local people and prepare videos to be shown on Friday. Students are divided into two groups:
The weekly curriculum works as follows:
Monday - Project work preparation for the interviews
Tuesday - Interviews take place;
Wednesday - Interviews (continued) and cookery class
Thursday - Assessment of the material for video editing
Friday - Screening of the videos. Discussion on how to market the video that has been produced.
At the end of the week, a certificate of attendance is delivered, certifying the activities that have been performed and students’ linguistic competence.
